Why I Started a Daily Clinical Learning Series: Heart, Lungs, Movement and Sleep

Heart health, lung health, physical fitness, and sleep are not four separate subjects. They shape each other every day in our patients, our teams, and ourselves. That is why I started a Clinical Learning Series that rotates through Cardiology, Pulmonary, Exercise Physiology, and Sleep.

How it works: twice a day I pick one real, peer-reviewed article, verify the citation, and share three practical takeaways along with a question for colleagues. Where the evidence is observational, I say so. The goal is simple: turn good research into better questions and better care.

The first two posts looked at cardiorespiratory fitness and cardiovascular risk, and at sleep apnea hypoxic burden and cardiovascular mortality. Every article is linked on the Learning Series page.

Join in: read the series at https://jamesjonespa.com/pages/learning-series, comment on LinkedIn, and tell me which topic you want next. Share it with a colleague who would like it.
